(children born between 01.09.20 and 31.08.21)
Since September 2011, children start Reception in one intake in September.
In Reception all children start in September. A recent change made by the Government, which allows parents and carers the option to defer entry for Summer born children will take place with immediate effect. This is a recent change to procedure and will be discussed during the tours around school.
During the Summer term an Induction meeting is held for parents. Invitations will be sent to those who are allocated a place. During the meeting there is an opportunity to meet key members of staff and arrange home-visits.
Please note that places at all community and voluntary controlled schools are allocated in accordance with Hertfordshire County Council's admissions rules.
