'Myself and my husband, Guy are both Ofsted registered child-minders offering before and after school care to children at Templewood School. We are very established and have been part of the school community for many years. Each year, we welcome new children to our setting at the start of their school life joining those already settled with us. We have a wide range of children from Reception age to Year 6. Our happy environment has helped children flourish at school whilst being able to make new friendships and benefit from our homely setting. We provide home cooked meals catering for all dietary needs. Please feel free to contact us regarding any further questions you may have.'
KIDZSTOP CHILD-MINDING
"My name is Lesley Shea and I run a child-minding service called “Kidzstop” based in my home, close by to Templewood School.
I have been affiliated with Templewood school, as a child-care provider, since 1997. I work with my husband, Steve, and we are both Ofsted registered, CRB checked and trained in paediatric first-aid. I also hold an NVQ3 in Childcare Learning and Development and an NVQ2 in Food and Hygiene.
We care for children from age one up to eleven and offer them a “home-from-home” environment which is safe, fun, stimulating and relaxing. Our pre-school children are taken out every day to be socialised at local toddler-groups, soft-play centres, farms and parks, etc. The school-age children walk to and from school every day for exercise and road-safety awareness. This gives them the opportunity to chat with each other before and after school. When the weather allows, we take the children to the local parks or woods for a change of scenery and often take our golden-retriever, Tuppence, with us.
We have a modern, nine-seater vehicle, appropriately equipped, and have business cover for both vehicle and household insurances. We are registered with the Information Minister’s Office (for data protection), with the main providers of child-care vouchers (for tax-free payments), and with Herts County Council in order to claim ”Free Early Years Funding.”
